ACADEMY PURPOSE
The purpose of the Canadian Academy of Acupuncture is to promote the Acupuncture care, integrate concepts from traditional Chinese medicine and modern health science training, thereby synthesize a more comprehensive approach to health care.
CODE OF ETHICS
- As Certified Acupuncturists we shall be dedicated to providing competency and the best of Acupuncture care for our patients.
- As Certified Acupuncturists we shall promote a healing relationship with respect and compassion for the rights and needs of our patients.
- As Certified Acupuncturists we shall apply and promote principles of equity and fairness to treat our patients
- As Certified Acupuncturists we shall promote education and awareness of acupuncture among our community, health professionals and patients.
- As Certified Acupuncturists we shall promote continuing education and research of acupuncture.
- As Certified Acupuncturists we will honor and respect the code of ethics of other professional organizations to which we belong and the laws of the provinces and country in which we practice.
